"I drew on his strength": local woman completes charity walk in husband's memory

A Dorset woman has completed the mammoth 630-mile South West Coast Path walk in memory of her late husband— raising thousands of pounds for charity in the process. Jacqui Rix, 47, from Verwood, attempted the challenge from Minehead to Poole, after her husband George died of prostate cancer in March 2025.
